CNC Machinist

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Red Seal certified CNC Machinist with manufacturing ISO 9001:2000 or other quality standard backgrounds. To be successful applicants must have excellent communication, analytical and mechanical skills as well as being team players.

Under the direction of a Supervisor, this full-time position is responsible for the set-up, loading/unloading of parts, programming and operating of CNC machines such as lathes and milling machines.
Must be capable of:

  • Assertive self-starter with a positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • High energy level with ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Identifying and correcting bottlenecks, improving efficiency and the quality of processes and products and following the daily Production Schedule prioritizing work accordingly.
  • Understanding and following the “Pull” type systems currently in use.
  • Experience with HAAS and/or Doosan CNC machinery will be a definite asset.

Merit Based Compensation:
