The PREDATAIR60 hydraulic air compressor was launched one year ago and sales have been rising. Thank you to all of our customers who supported our launch of this revolutionary new product line. We have now taken the feedback received from customers and added new features to the product line. Some of these features are highlighted below:

• Hydraulic Oil Temperature Sensing - both in the cooler discharge and in the hydraulic manifold.
• Unload/Load-up Solenoid - greatly reduces the load on the hydraulic system by limiting the compressor air pressure to approximately 70 psi during startup or periods of no air use.
• Check Valve and Pressure Sensor at Compressor Air Discharge - check valve for an air reservoir is now built in.
• Flash Codes - There are more flash codes using the two LED lights on the top of the PREDATAIR to indicate the status of the system. Some of the things that are indicated are Temperature Probe Failure, Cold Start Mode, High Pressure Start, Compressor Over-Temp, and Hydraulic Over-Temp.

This VR70 system fits 1999-2002 GM CK2500HD- CK3500 6.0L/5.3L Vortec V8 Gas work trucks. VMAC has updated this system with some significant changes. As such, the part number has been changed. The system now includes:

• Cast aluminum main bracket.
• VMAC's cast aluminum air compressor housing.
• New digital control box.

VMAC is happy to welcome Larry Croome as a Special Account Representative. Larry's area of responsibility includes outside sales and customer support for the East Coast of North America. Larry brings diverse experience and a strong work ethic to VMAC. He was most recently self-employed, building high-efficiency homes on Vancouver Island. His experience has ranged from structure, architectural, mechanical and industry design, to sales. Larry has also designed, manufactured and sold approximately 1,600 ultra-light airplanes worldwide. Larry is a former triathlon athlete and is a husband and father of 2 children; his interests include energy efficiency and woodworking.

VMAC has spent countless hours interviewing every co-worker at VMAC to help pave a road for the future direction of the company. Part of this process was to gain input to help articulate Tony Menard's Vision in a short all encompassing statement. Another part of this process was to help create our Mission statement. The resulting statement encompasses the thoughts and feelings of all VMAC co-workers on how we intend to accomplish our Vision. VMAC is proud to announce that the 10,000th Air Compressor System was shipped from VMAC on June 21, 2006 to Reading Equipment and Distribution in Bowmansville, Pennsylvania.

The VR70 System (Part # V900080) was received by Reading and installed by their certified installer, John Ruhnke.

The 10,000th celebration co-insides with another celebration happening this year, VMAC's 20th year anniversary (1986-2006).
