    New Ford Throttle Control

We would like to thank everyone who was involved in our throttle survey that we conducted. Based on your information, we will have a new SEIC Throttle shortly. Below is the information on it.

The 2005 F250-F550 Super Duty Trucks and Econoline Vans (over 8500 GVW) will all feature Ford's new High Idle System. The Stationary Elevated Idle Controls (SEIC) is an engine control that has been internalized into the vehicle computer. The introduction of this idle control means the retirement of Ford's old APCM model. The SEIC will be adjustable by using various resistors for a particular engine speed. A chart will be available from the Ford Body Builder division to determine what resistor to use for various RPM settings. Multiple idle speeds may be technically challenging using this method.

VMAC is proud to introduce an easy solution for both the gas and diesel engines. The brand new Throttle Commander will have many of the features found in our older models. These new SEIC modules will have 2 adjustable speeds, a port for a remote pendant option, easy to follow instructions and complete compatibility with the vehicle's computer. Complete specs will be available on the website soon. The new Throttle Commander will be available mid-August to coincide with Ford's launch of their 2005 trucks and vans. The T500107 will fit all diesel models and the T500108 will fit all gas models. Place your orders now to ensure timely delivery.

VMAC will also be releasing a battery discharge module in the near future. This will idle the engine up to prevent the battery from discharging. More details on this release will be sent soon.
