Best Workplaces in Canada
(2009)

The Best Workplaces in Canada list showcases businesses that scored highest according to employee surveys and human resources practices. The list uses trust as a key indicator, including the workplace’s credibility, fairness, camaraderie, sense of pride and level of respect. Organizations on the 2009 list came from a variety of industries, ranging in size from 54 to 55,000 employees, and are located all across Canada. VMAC is the only Vancouver Island business, and one of only 12 British Columbia businesses to make the list of the 75 best workplaces.

B.C. Export Award - Manufactured Products
(2001 - top 3 finalist, 2002)

These prestigious awards are presented each year by the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters Association to a few of BC's finest companies, representing 12 main export categories. The Manufactured Products Award is presented to a company that has built an innovative system or value-added components, machinery or equipment for industrial and commercial use.
